Frequently asked questions.
Is this suitable if I currently have back pain?
Yes. This workshop is designed for people experiencing common lower back pain or stiffness. All movements can be modified to suit your comfort level, and you'll be encouraged to work within your own body and abilities. If you have a recent injury, severe pain, or a medical condition, it's always best to seek advice from your healthcare professional before attending.
Do I need to be fit?
Not at all. This workshop is suitable for all fitness and movement experience levels. The focus is on understanding your body and learning practical movement strategies... not achieving a workout.
Will we be exercising?
Yes, but this isn't a fitness class. You'll take part in gentle, guided movement throughout the workshop to help you experience and better understand the concepts being taught.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. We'll be spending time both standing and on the mat, so activewear is recommended.
Will I receive take-home resources?
Yes! You'll receive a workbook summarising the key concepts covered, along with practical exercises and movement strategies to help you continue applying what you've learnt at home.
